Welcome to "British Landscapes" a photographic journey through England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland with landscape photographer Derek Fogg, whose aim, through his journey, is to capture the beauty and diversity of the landscape for you to enjoy forever. Having evolved over 3 billion years the British Isles has some of the most beautiful and diverse landscape, which is unparalleled anywhere else in the world. Created 8000 years ago by retreating ice and rising sea levels they consist over 6000 islands with coastline of more than 10,000 miles, which is the longest in Europe and is the most varied and dramatic of any country of comparable size. The islands extend from Pednathise Head, Isles of Scilly in the south, to Out Stack, Shetland in the north; and from Tearaght Island, Ireland in the west, to Lowestoft Ness, England in the east. If you love the British landscape, then, you have come to the right place, sit back, relax and browse through the galleries of landscape photography capturing the beauty of the British Isles. If you have appreciated the scenery so far why not come with me by returning on a regular basis to view the latest additions which will ensure that you do not miss the next stop on this journey. I hope you enjoy viewing my work and your feedback would be very much appreciated by leaving a comment in the Visitor Book. Stock photography by Derek Fogg at Alamy ![]() |
